I think it's safe to say my Deviant Art days are over. I come here maybe once a month or so and there's never less than 1k messages in my inbox.
Seriously though, tumblr is the place to be man. I feel like the artist community there is so much more laid back and simple. Deviant Art is a great place to share your work, don't get me wrong. There are so many amazing artists on this website but it's notorious reputation of drama, art thieves and you know the whole rest of the lot repels people from visiting, which leaves all these artists unnoticed and that just makes me sad.
